Rules for the Day

📜

Course Local Rules

Boundary fencing — out of bounds

Any perimeter wall or boundary fence defines a ball as out of bounds. Adjacent public footpaths are also strictly out of bounds.

Wrong greens

If your ball lands on a wrong green, take free relief and drop off the green. Playing from a wrong green is prohibited to prevent turf damage.

Tee areas & divots

Play from the designated tee markers. Replace displaced turf on the fairways and repair pitch marks on the greens.

Course markings

Observe any course-specific markings and staked areas. Proceed under standard penalty area or unplayable lie rules for balls lost in heavy foliage.

Outing Rules — Pace of Play

Ready golf

Play out of turn in a safe manner to save time — shorter hitters or those ready first tee off, and a player closer to the green plays if a partner is taking a while.

Provisional balls

If you think your ball may be lost or out of bounds, play a provisional to save time.

Lost balls — local drop

If a ball is deemed lost but the group agrees on the general area, a replacement may be dropped for a 2-stroke penalty. If your drive is lost, your next stroke is playing 4. This is an outing local rule for pace of play only.

No gimmies

All balls must be holed — this is Net Medal, so every stroke counts on the card.
